Misty: I'm a thirty-something early-elementary educator who realized my true calling after working as a TA at my local school district in 2016. After living in the Outer Banks for 2 years, I moved back to PA and I was working as a lifeguard at my local YMCA. After the pandemic caused the Y to close, I returned to school to finish my education and earn my Bachelors in Early Childhood-Elementary Education.As a future educator, I want to continue to make a positive impact on children’s lives and their education, as well as to be a positive mentor and role model for them.
